Shikellamy Middle School students have the opportunity to participate in public speech and debate through the forensics program.  I assist Ellen Boyer at the High School and there are a number of tournaments where middle school students have the opportunity to participate in novice speech and debate.  Take a look at the list on the left!  We hold informal practices after school on Thursdays in room 109 where students can practice their speeches, work on finding pieces to perform, and develop cases for debate.  Students may participate in forensics even if they are involved in other sports and activities - I would love for your child to attend just one tournament.  There is no better activity for life-long learning and achievement than the Shikellamy Forensics Team.

Please contact me with any questions you might have about the Shikellamy Forensics Team!

In the summer of 2015, I had the opportunity to take Garrett and Aaron to Dallas to compete in the National Tournament where they placed 8th in the nation in Public Forum Debate!
