Student Drop-Off & Pickup at SMS

Parents & Guardians of Shikellamy Middle School Students,

Please adhere to the drop off procedures when bringing your student to school in the morning.  For safety reasons, vehicles should stay in the drop off lane and not drop students off in the parking lot to avoid waiting in line.  Students should get out of the vehicle when a sidewalk is available and walk to the front entrance to speed up the process.

Alternatively, vehicles may drop students above the school on Prince St. and have them use the ramp and sidewalk to proceed to the front entrance.

Thank you for your cooperation with these procedures.  This will help to make sure all students arrive to school safely and on-time.

HOMEWORK calendar (see above-click "Information"). Homework should be loaded in the calendar listed.

Students should be writing assignments in the assignment book they received in homeroom on the first day of school.

Many teachers are using technology (via message systems like REMIND or email) to keep students/parents informed of homework.
